As we say goodbye...

One of the most difficult things in life is to let go and accept. This would be a challenge for us as you have been an important part of our lives. You have been with us through happy times. You have seen us cry shamelessly. You have supported us through tough times. You have been giving us time as and when needed and as always. With you have been together and together we were able to be ourselves. With you we have traveled the length and breadth of this country.
As we say goodbye to you today, we do not hold back our tears. You have been integral with us. You leave behind magical mystical memories. "time is the hero, time moves on, time doesn't wait for anyone". So does life and we are not an exception!
Today, we let go of you and embrace a new entrant hoping for the same or rather "near-same" experiences. We are thankful that we are always able to look back, smile and look ahead. We will miss you.

Good bye Manza, welcome home Vento!

Cheers,
Hopie

Back with a blog...

After years almost.. feels strange to be blogging! To blog from a 90s desk top - then from a n early 2000s laptop and now from a tab - why this change?? We want everything compact, handy and fast - yet the earth takes 24hours to complete one rotation! So where are we running??

The faster we want things, the slower they come to us. No no. They come to us at the same pace its only our wants that are faster!! Why??

When we (I)  stop and think the reason is clear. We find it easier to connect to friends via facebook than hangout together, we find it easier to text a birthday wish than call. Gone are the days of surprise parties and treasure hunt gifts., gone are the love notes and stolen kisses.. its convenient for us and we are turning lazy.

Lets restore our lives.. go on pass a love note.. although the handwriting is nowhere near calligraphy it overwhelms me always.. find the time to meet friends - trust me it feels good when someone says you made my day.. remember what your loved ones like.. remember what your parents would like you to do..

All of us have only 24 hours.. lets take the time to make a small difference to the lives of people around us., donate your eyes, pledge your organs, give life to an abandoned child.. or simply make your loved ones smile n feel the goose bumps.

Hope we give a hospitable world to our kids.

Cheers,
Hopie
